Hello and Welcome,
Johnson Motorsports
will be back and on track for the
2010 Racing Season bigger and better. We ended 2008 with a
bang, and we mean a real big bang!
Last season we were away from the track most of the season
with other family business being taken care of. Each time we
tried to get to the track to race, the car would break or it
would rain on us.
Since the end of our
karting careers in 2005 we had taken a long break, and
in that period of time a lot had happened with the team. One
major thing that happened and halted the team is that in
late July 2006, former team owner and father, Scott A.
Johnson was killed in a very serious non-fault motorcycle
accident in Oakdale, NY. With his death being so sudden and
on everyone's mind, all racing seasons & all races will run in memory of Scott,
he was the backbone and inspiration of Johnson Motorsports
since the beginning in 1999.
As you can see we
have a new look, and new colors. For 2010 Johnson Motorsports will have
driver Bryan M. Johnson back behind the wheel, but this time
behind the wheel of a brand new 1934 Ford Coupe Legends Race Car. We
have spent a lot of time preparing for the this up and
coming season. The entire Johnson Motorsports team will
hopefully be a force to be reckoned with this season.
Stay tuned to our new and improved website for
breaking news during the entire 2010 season. You can find
some useful information from the links provided at the top
of the page. Check it all out! Enjoy the site! C-Ya all at
the Race Track in 2010!
Thanks,
The
Johnson Motorsports Team
