Bryan M. Johnson is a driver from Mastic, Long Island, New York. His grandfather Marty Himes, is the owner/curator of The Himes Museum of Motor Racing Nostalgia located in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York. Marty has had very successful career as a racecar driver back in the days of Islip and Freeport Speedways. Bryan's father Scott A. Johnson got him into racing in 1999 with Go-Karts at the Medford Raceway. From there he and the newly started Johnson Motorsports team traveled to Riverhead Raceway and the Westhampton Speedway. Soon after in 2000, the Johnson's moved on to the WKA Northeast Pavement Series touring schedule. Having a very successful season in 2000 with a local track Championship at the Riverhead Raceway. Bryan then went on to become the WKA Northeast Pavement Series Official Flagman. After his year as flagman Bryan decided to step down and try something new. He began driving for 5J's Motorsports Mini Cup team. Bryan went on to win the Mini Truck Pro Modified series Championship at the Poughkeepsie Speedway and the Westhampton Speedway in one season. The team then decided to slow the racing down a bit and Bryan went on to race only a few races from that point on. Bryan Johnson & the Johnson Motorsports team will be back with vengeance in 2008!

In 2008 Bryan will move into the INEX Legends Car Division at the Riverhead Raceway with a fresh team. With hopes of a top 10 season points standing finish, with possible track victories as well. Stay tuned for the racing updates week to week to see how Bryan and the team fairs in 2008.
